Wordless Wednesday today is all about marketing…to the wrong person.

I think I would roll over and die if I saw that my son’s tongue was this shade of purple. I can think of plenty of ways to have “fun on the run” that don’t involve gobs of sugar and artificial colors/flavors.

This family looks like they are having so much fun! Thanks for the ideas Kool-Aid. Nice try. I’m still not buying your products. Let’s revisit the issue once your use colors and flavors that come from nature and cut your sugar content by at least half. xo AGM

Too funny. You are so right. Purple tongues….at least not on purpose
So glad to have found your site!!! About to be your newest follower!
Thank you so much
Oh vey. HOW is this a selling point?? Are people really that naive??
Amy, I have no idea how this is a selling point. Perhaps the ad is alluring to the kids who may glance at it and want it. My son kept asking to see the purple tongue on the computer. Go figure. For a long time I lived under the veil that if the FDA approved artificial colors and flavors for use in food and beverages, then they couldn’t be that bad, right? The government is supposed to protect us from harmful products, right? Then I got pregnant. And I remembered what my mom didn’t let us have growing up. And I read, read, and read some more. And suddenly she didn’t seem so stringent after all.
I agree! Even though I grew up drinking gallons of Kool Aid as a kid, there is no way I’m letting my son drink that stuff!!
Desiree, I can’t tell you how I longed for this stuff as a kid. I would drool over the commercials where the big Kool-Aid man would bust through a wall and secretly wished he would show up at my house.
Too much purple even for me!!
Love the color! (Just not in stuff I ingest)
I am so with you. I actually couldn’t tell you when the last time I had Kool aid was because my mother wouldn’t give it to me either
Good to know I wasn’t the only one deprived as a child
Not sure when I’ve had koolaid, but every once and a while, we’ll indulge in some artificial colors and have colored tongues…but that’s just us!
